Florin Serban

Florin Șerban (born 1975) is a Romanian director and screenwriter, one of the figures of the Romanian New Wave. Trained at Columbia University's film program, he established himself with the feature If I Want to Whistle, I Whistle, set in a Romanian juvenile prison, which won the Silver Bear at Berlin. His acclaimed films include If I Want to Whistle, I Whistle and Box.
