Fielder Cook

Fielder Cook (1923–2003) was an American director who came up through live television drama in the 1950s — directing classic episodes of Playhouse 90 and other anthology series — before turning to feature filmmaking. His acclaimed films include Patterns, A Big Hand for the Little Lady, The Hideaways (From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler), and Eagle in a Cage.
