Fernando León de Aranoa
Fernando León de Aranoa (born 1968) is a Spanish director and screenwriter, one of the most acclaimed Spanish filmmakers of his generation. Trained in image and visual arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, he turned to feature filmmaking in the late 1990s and developed a body of work that combines social observation with humour, often centred on workers, the unemployed, and the institutionally marginalized. His acclaimed films include Familia, Barrio, Mondays in the Sun, Princesas, Amador, A Perfect Day, Loving Pablo, and The Good Boss.
