Fehér György
György Fehér (1939–2002) was a Hungarian director and television director, a longtime collaborator and mentor to Béla Tarr. Trained at the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest, he worked for many years in Hungarian television before turning to feature filmmaking late in life. His features were shot in extended black-and-white long takes influenced by his close working relationship with Tarr. His acclaimed films include Twilight and Passion.
