Ermek Shinarbaev

Ermek Shinarbaev (born 1953) is a Kazakh director and screenwriter, one of the central figures of the so-called Kazakh New Wave that emerged in the late 1980s. His acclaimed films include Sister of Mine, Out of the Forest of Mishigorod, Revenge, and Place on the Tricorne.
