Erik Skjoldbjaerg

Erik Skjoldbjærg (born 1964) is a Norwegian director, one of the most internationally recognized figures of contemporary Norwegian cinema. Trained at the National Film and Television School in Britain, he established his reputation with the original Insomnia, later remade in English by Christopher Nolan. His acclaimed films include Insomnia, Prozac Nation, Pioneer, and Occupied (television).
