Eric Mitchell

Eric Mitchell (born 1947) is a French-American director and actor, one of the central figures of the No Wave Cinema scene in late-1970s New York. He worked across feature film, experimental work, and theatre, and his features drew on the punk and underground art scenes of lower Manhattan. His acclaimed films include Kidnapped, Underground U.S.A., and The Way It Is.
