Eric Khoo
Eric Khoo (born 1965) is a Singaporean director and producer, regarded as the father of contemporary Singaporean cinema. Trained at the City Art Institute in Sydney, he produced his feature debut Mee Pok Man in the mid-1990s, helping to launch Singapore's modern feature industry. He has also produced features by other Singaporean and Southeast Asian directors. His acclaimed films include Mee Pok Man, 12 Storeys, Be with Me, My Magic, In the Room, and Ramen Shop.
