Emmanuel Finkiel
Emmanuel Finkiel (born 1961) is a French director and screenwriter. He worked as an assistant to Jean-Luc Godard, Krzysztof Kieślowski, and Bertrand Tavernier before turning to direction. His features have engaged with the experience of European Jewish memory and the post-Shoah world. His acclaimed films include Voyages, Madame Jacques on the Croisette, Memoir of My Days, Nowhere Promised Land, and Memoir of War.
