Emmanuel Carrère

Emmanuel Carrère (born 1957) is a French novelist, screenwriter, and director, one of the most celebrated French writers of his generation. His features as a director have drawn on his interests in biography, religion, and self-investigation. His acclaimed films include La Moustache, Retour à Kotelnitch, and Between Two Worlds (Ouistreham).
