Desmond Davis
Desmond Davis (1926–2021) was a British director and cinematographer who came up as a clapper-boy and second-unit cinematographer in British studio cinema. After working as cinematographer on key features of the British New Wave for Tony Richardson, he turned to direction and produced features across feature film and television. His acclaimed films include Girl with Green Eyes, I Was Happy Here, Clash of the Titans, and Ordeal by Innocence.
