Dennis Hopper
Dennis Hopper (1936–2010) was an American actor, director, and photographer, a central figure of the New Hollywood generation. After early roles in films by Nicholas Ray and others, he co-wrote, directed, and starred in Easy Rider, the surprise commercial success that helped launch the New Hollywood movement. His subsequent directing career was uneven but included several notable features. His acclaimed films as director include Easy Rider, The Last Movie, Out of the Blue, Colors, The Hot Spot, and Chasers.
