David Fincher

David Fincher (born 1962) is an American director and producer, one of the most distinctive visual stylists in modern American cinema. He came up through music videos and commercials at Propaganda Films before turning to feature direction with Alien 3 and reinventing himself with the dark thriller Se7en. His features are characterized by precisely composed CGI-enhanced cinematography, sparse colour palettes, and deeply moral engagement with violence, technology, and obsession. His acclaimed films include Se7en, The Game, Fight Club, Panic Room, Zodiac, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl, Mank, and The Killer.
