Danny Boyle
Danny Boyle (born 1956) is a British director and producer, one of the most commercially and critically successful British directors of his generation. After a long career in theatre and television, he turned to feature filmmaking in the early 1990s with the Edinburgh-set thriller Shallow Grave. His acclaimed films include Shallow Grave, Trainspotting, 28 Days Later, Millions, Sunshine, Slumdog Millionaire (for which he won the Academy Award for Best Director), 127 Hours, Steve Jobs, T2 Trainspotting, and Yesterday.
