Daniele Luchetti

Daniele Luchetti (born 1960) is an Italian director and screenwriter whose features have made him one of the most consistently active voices in contemporary Italian cinema. He worked as an assistant to Nanni Moretti before turning to his own feature direction in the late 1980s, and his films often share Moretti's engagement with Italian politics, family, and the long shadow of the country's twentieth-century history. His acclaimed films include The Footman, The Yes Man, The School, My Brother Is an Only Child, Our Life, Anni Felici, and Lacci.
