Daniel Alfredson

Daniel Alfredson (born 1959) is a Swedish director and the brother of the director Tomas Alfredson. He came up through Swedish television before turning to feature direction and is best known internationally for directing two of the three feature adaptations of Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy. His acclaimed films include The Girl Who Played with Fire, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest, and Kidnapping Mr. Heineken.
