Cristian Nemescu
Cristian Nemescu (1979–2006) was a Romanian director and screenwriter, one of the most promising young figures of the early Romanian New Wave. A graduate of the National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest, he died in a car accident at twenty-seven, shortly after completing his feature debut California Dreamin'. His acclaimed work includes the shorts Marilena from P7 and Mihai and Cristina, and the posthumously released California Dreamin'.
