Clint Eastwood
Clint Eastwood (born 1930) is an American actor, director, and producer, one of the most prolific and longest-active figures in modern American cinema. After establishing himself as a star of television and the Italian-American Western, he turned to direction in 1971 with Play Misty for Me and has since produced more than thirty features as director. His later directing career has won him two Academy Awards for Best Director — for Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby. His acclaimed films as director include Play Misty for Me, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Pale Rider, Bird, Unforgiven, A Perfect World, Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby, Letters from Iwo Jima, Gran Torino, and Sully.
