Claude Miller
Claude Miller (1942–2012) was a French director and screenwriter, a longtime assistant to François Truffaut who emerged as one of the most accomplished French directors of the post-New-Wave generation. After production-management work for Truffaut, Jean-Luc Godard, Jacques Demy, and others, he turned to direction in the mid-1970s with The Best Way to Walk. His acclaimed films include The Best Way to Walk, This Sweet Sickness, An Impudent Girl, La Petite Voleuse, Class Trip, A Secret, I'm Glad My Mother Is Alive, and Thérèse.
