Clare Peploe

Clare Peploe (1942–2021) was a British director and screenwriter and a longtime collaborator with her husband Bernardo Bertolucci. She worked as an assistant to Michelangelo Antonioni and co-wrote Bertolucci's Luna and Besieged before directing her own features. Her acclaimed films include High Season, Rough Magic, and The Triumph of Love.
