André Hunebelle, Haroun Tazieff

André Hunebelle (1896–1985) was a French director who specialized in popular swashbucklers and action features of postwar French commercial cinema. Haroun Tazieff (1914–1998) was a French-Polish volcanologist and adventurer-documentarian. The two collaborated on documentary feature work about volcanism alongside Hunebelle's commercial filmography. Hunebelle's acclaimed features include Mission to Tangiers, Le Bossu, Three Musketeers, OSS 117, and Fantômas; Tazieff is best known for his volcano documentaries.
